Women's Advancement

Nationally and locally, women need to be advanced and supported.  Women are starting to open up about the issues of motherhood and how difficult it is as a stay-at-home-mom.  The #metoo movement has shined a light on the darker side of some men, but the overall, across-the-board suppression of women.  Science has still not put women’s health at the  forefront, as more evidence of psychological impacts from certain hormonal birth control is talked about in blogs, but not in scientific journals.  Local government can do a lot to advance women from offering support groups for young mothers and more community activities for families to advocating equal pay legislation.  From here, we can put pressure on the rest of the state and nation to change.
